The Mission of the Kewaunee County 4-H Leaders’ Association is to provide a voice for all currently enrolled Kewaunee County 4-H leaders to be utilized in assisting the County Extension Office in planning, implementing, and evaluating the year’s 4-H Youth Development program. The Association provides a venue for discussion of problems and ideas of the community 4-H clubs and their leaders with the goal of strengthening the Kewaunee County 4-H Program.

What is Leaders Association and Board?

Leaders Association serves as the leadership and advisory groups for Chippewa County 4-H. Together, they:

Provide input on countywide 4-H programs and opportunities
Advocate for and promote 4-H throughout the community
Support youth leadership and engagement
Raise and manage funds that support countywide programming
Recognize youth and volunteer accomplishments
Represent 4-H at the local, county, state, and national levels

Who: Meetings are open to enrolled 4-H members, volunteers, parents, and supporters interested in countywide 4-H programming.

Date: Meetings are held on the third Monday of the month. Check the calendar for further details and updated information.

Association Meeting: Meetings are held during January, March, May, June, September, and October.

Board Meeting: Meetings are held during February, April, June, August, October, and November.

Ways to Get Involved

Whether you have a few hours each year or would like to take on a leadership role, there are many ways to support Kewaunee County 4-H through the Leaders Association.

Join a Committee

Volunteers are at the heart of the 4-H program, and we’re grateful for the many ways they contribute. One great way to get involved is by joining one of our committees. These groups typically meet in November, January, March, May, and July—or as determined by the committee—and vary in time commitment. Each committee plays a vital role in helping us deliver high-quality opportunities for 4-H members and participants.

Other ways to get Involved

Help with Countywide Events

Volunteer to support educational programs, workshops, leadership events, recognition ceremonies, fairs, and other countywide 4-H opportunities throughout the year.

Advocate for 4-H

Share the impact of 4-H with your community, help recruit new members and volunteers, and serve as a positive ambassador for youth development programs.

Share Your Ideas

Bring your experience, expertise, and perspective to discussions about how to improve and grow 4-H opportunities for youth and families across Kewaunee County.
