Lighthouse Launch Pitch Event

The Lighthouse Launch Pitch Event is designed to spotlight entrepreneurs, innovators, and small business owners who are ready to share their vision. Whether you’re launching a new venture, growing an existing business, or exploring a promising concept, Lighthouse Launch provides an opportunity to pitch your idea, compete for cash prizes, and connect with local business leaders.

Participants will deliver a four-minute pitch to a panel of judges, followed by a brief question-and-answer session. Beyond the competition, Lighthouse Launch is about fostering innovation, encouraging entrepreneurship, and supporting businesses that contribute to the economic vitality of our communities.

What should be included in the pitch?

Contestants are encouraged to develop a pitch deck – or a slide presentation of the idea / business. The slide deck should include the following:

  • Introductory slide of idea / business – lead with excitement!
  • Problem or issue the idea / business is solving.
  • Solution the idea / business presents.
  • Revenue model – show how this idea / business makes money!
  • Marketing plan – show how this idea / business will be marketed!
  • Team – who is the team behind the idea / business.
  • Ask – what do you need?
  • Conclusion – Recap your pitch!
