Five Minute Farm Focus
The Five Minute Farm Focus series is a collection of videos recorded at local farms in northeast Wisconsin. Dairy farms are a complex network of management decisions that involve multiple people, tools, and practices. The videos focus on one management aspect of a farm that improves the health and well-being of the dairy herd. Each video is approximately five to six minutes long, but they vary in length.

Extension specialists and educators provide timely resources and information to help Wisconsin crop producers and their agricultural consultants manage crops efficiently and profitably.

Youth Dairy
The Wisconsin Youth Livestock Program continues to grow as more and more youth incorporate their interest in cattle, sheep, swine and meat goats through 4-H/FFA projects. These animals are the vehicles in which we teach youth life skills to be contributing adults. This website will provide youth and adults the teaching tools to become successful in their project areas as well as keep up to date on current information.

Kewaunee County Farm Technology Days 2017
In 2017, Kewaunee County Farm Technology Days set a high bar with an outstanding host family, record volunteers, and great attendance. After the show, more than $103,000 was donated to 20 local charities, plus an additional $250,000 returned through scholarships, grants, and the legacy Dana Farm Ice Rink and Warming Shelter—including restoration of the historic Ransom Moore Cabin.

Wisconet Wisconsin’s Environmental Mesonet
The Wisconsin Environmental Mesonet (Wisconet) is a growing network of weather and soil monitoring stations across Wisconsin, designed to provide research quality data at high spatial and temporal resolutions. There are currently 79 Wisconet stations, each providing more than one dozen measurements every five minutes.
Nutrient Management Farmer Education Curriculum
Since its original release in 1999, the Nutrient Management Farmer Education Curriculum has been an evolving collection of instructional tools for educating farmers (and others) on improved nutrient management practices. The goal is to involve farmers in the design of their own nutrient management plans.
Ag Weather Outlook for Wisconsin
A weekly report to provide ag advisors, conservation staff, and farmers with relevant up-to-date Wisconsin climate information and link it to impacts on Wisconsin agriculture. The goal is to help farmers make well-informed decisions based on the current and forecasted conditions in their area.
