State 4-H Scholarships

Statewide 4-H scholarships are awarded to 4-H members throughout the state by the WI 4-H Foundation. They are open to 4-H members in grades 12 and 13 as well as recent 4-H graduates. There are multiple scholarships awarded for various projects and leadership roles. The Wisconsin 4-H Foundation will award more than $10,000 in scholarships to outstanding Wisconsin students pursuing higher education.

Kewaunee County 4-H Scholarship Opportunities

Information for all scholarship applications:
All scholarship applications are due to the Extension office by Wednesday, April 1, 2026.
*All applications and essays must have the applicant’s name at the top of each page. This includes extra pages such as involvement lists, activities, awards, etc.
* All applications must be saved as a PDF and emailed to kewaunee.4h@extension.wisc.edu, or printed and mailed/dropped off at the Extension office. Google Docs or Word documents will not be accepted.
SAVE YOUR APPLICATION WITH YOUR NAME IN THE TITLE. When you email it to the office, make sure your name and application title are in the subject of the email.
* Your application is submitted once you have received an email back from the Extension office. If you have submitted your application and have not heard back within two business days, please call the office at 920-388-7141 or 920-388-7185.

Kewaunee County 4-H Adult Leader’s Association Scholarship

All approved, Kewaunee County 4-H members in good standing at the time of application may apply. You must be in grades 12 or 13. Applications must be submitted as PDF documents or typed and submitted as a hard copy. One or two, $750.00 scholarship(s) may be awarded each year.

Kewaunee County 4-H Livestock Association Scholarship

Kewaunee County 4-H Livestock Association Scholarship: This scholarship opportunity is open to Kewaunee County 4-H members and 4-H participants of the Kewaunee County 4-H Livestock Auction in grades 12 or 13 who have sold at the Kewaunee County Fair Auction for a minimum of two years. Applications must be submitted as PDF documents or typed and submitted as a hard copy.

Kewaunee County 4-H Teen Association Scholarship

All approved, Kewaunee County 4-H members in good standing at the time of application may apply. You must be in grades 12 or 13. Applications must be submitted as PDF documents or typed and submitted as a hard copy. Up to two $250 scholarships may be awarded each year. Exceptions based on applicant pool and available funds may be made by a Teen Association vote. You can only receive this scholarship once.

Kewaunee County 4-H Jack Bancroft and Gary Smith Memorial Scholarship

The Gary Smith and Jack Bancroft Memorial Scholarship honors the memory of these two adult leaders who gave so much of their time and energy to improving the small animal projects in Kewaunee County. This scholarship not only honors Gary and Jack, but all of our project leaders who have invested in Kewaunee County youth through the years, building vibrant small animal projects– and 4-H youth–of whom the county can be proud. All approved, Kewaunee County 4-H Poultry and/or Rabbit Project members in good standing may apply. You must be in grades 12 or 13. Applications must be submitted as PDF documents or typed and submitted as a hard copy.

Kewaunee County 4-H Ruth Klussendorf Scholarship

The Ruth Klussendorf scholarship opportunity is open to Kewaunee County 4-H members in good standing in grades 12 or 13 who are pursuing a course of study preparing them to be a teacher, a nurse, a child care worker, or a profession in the area of food and/or nutrition sciences. Applications must be submitted as PDF documents or typed and submitted as a hard copy.

Kewaunee County 4-H Horse Project Scholarship

This scholarship opportunity is open to all Kewaunee County 4-H Dairy Project members in grades
12 and 13. Applications must be submitted as PDF documents or typed and submitted as a hard copy.
